Military-history Re-enactments

History re-enactments, the staging of historical events in period costumes, are in principal interest and enthusiasm based activity. But since military-history re-enactments are often related to a certain location, they can represent a content that provides for sustained, long-term maintenance of the fortification heritage. This relates to both reconstructed field fortifications and permanent fortifications.
