Graduated as an architect in 1984 at the Faculty
of Architecture, University of Ljubljana. In 1993 completed Graduate
Diploma course in Animation and Interactive Multimedia at Swinburne
University in Melbourne, Australia.
Engaged in Fortifications Studies since 1999. In
years 1999-2001 he pionereed the evaluation of the remnants of the
Rupnik Line as typical European fortified system of the thirties
and presented it in domestic and foreign specialised publications,
together with the eastern part of the already well known Vallo Alpino.
Since 2000 he’s a director of a SiteO web site for Central and South
East Europe. In 2004 his publications in magazines Casemate and
Fort earned him an invitation to the Oxford based international
association Fortress Study Group.
He has published two books (monographies):
Rupnikova linija in Alpski zid (Vrhnika, 2004)
Utrjena Ljubljana / The Ring of Wire (Ljubljana, 2006).
